Awesome pics! Thanks!

There is NO such things as too many Pics, please post more. Those are some serious weather conditions. I am amazed w/ the wheeling out there. Typically, what is considered a "trail" do you guys head out to a point and then turn around and return back home? I am trying to compare it to how we drive trails out here in the states. Thanks again for sharing.

We dont usually have trails per se , we travel on glaciers or we go to mountain huts if we are going on a weekend trip, in the winter time everything in the highlands is covered with snow and then it's usually just Gps tracks we need to follow, sometimes finding ways around obstacles like hills and such, we have a huge collection of gps tracks to various places that we use

last trip I made onto a glacier this last weekend there was so bad weather that visibility was zero, I didn't even look out of the windsheild just had my eyes on the gps following the track , at times I didn't even know I was moving and had to see it on the gps if I was moving at all , one time i was on the move or i tought so.. when i looked in the mirror and saw the car behind me stopped :D

but ok, some more pics for you guys :)

enough pictures for now :) will add more as I take more pictures

My truck has the 4.2l turbo diesel engine 12valve, I get a decent fuel effeciency , 20hour "daytrip" over the glacier last weekend I used about 120liters of deisel

Great pictures, Now I see why cruisers came with 2 heaters. What gears are you running in those cruisers ? Mike

Insane. I am cold just looking at those pics. Very awesome pics man. Stay warm and safe! And please, keep the pics coming!

Awesome stuff!
Couple questions if you don't mind.
How much lift are you running?
I notice it looks as if you moved your rear axle back to help the tire clearance. How far back did you move it? And What was involved in moving it?

There's no body lift, im not sure exactly how much lift there is, alot has been cut from the fenders to fit the wheels, the rear axle has been moved about 6 inches to the rear, spring suspension cut away and airbag suspension fitted

Wow. Really incredible.

What is the startup procedure after spending a night on the glacier? Get in and go? Let the block heater run? What about batteries?

no block heater usuallu, some guys have webasto heater

really depends on how the weather has been over the night if its been windy and snowstorm , then its better to check the engine , fan belts and if everythings is ok, then start it up, if the weather has been good just very cold, then I usually start it with the remote start, Diesel 80 cruiser with 24v start just starts up, in almost any weather conditions
