You will want to remove the screen, or buy a truck without the 2nd row seat screens. They are huge and take up lots of small. I am 6'2" and have the seat all the way back, and the baby is behind me, 4yr old in the middle, and 2yr old behind the passenger seat. This works well for us.

Reviving an old thread here. We recently had our 2nd boy (both under 3) and my wife's GX470 is far too cramped.

Thinking about buying a 16+ LC but i want to be able to put a car seat behind the drivers seat and I'm 6'3" would that be too tight? I can't make it work in my 80 or her gx470

Im 6'2 and 220, and I have 3 car seats across the back. They are the big fat wide Britax Boulevard Click tight. Actually no, that's my Odyssey. In my LX, I have (2) Boulevards in the outbound seats, forward facing, and then I have a Uppababy Mesa in the middle, rear facing. If you opt for rear-facing, that 'might' be as issue, depending upon the size of the seat. Best thing is to just go find one and install the seat behind the driver. Keep in mind, even if you're rear-facing now, its not going to be that much longer. Once you're forward facing, its def no problem. And I have the rear screens.

Thanks that’s helpful

The Odyssey is great and there’s a reason even multimillion dollar homes have one in the garage they are so damn practical. My wife still can’t get past the minivan thing though.

Not too worried about rear facing since that’s only a temporary thing.

I really do just need to go look at one but unfortunately the dealer in town doesn’t have any in stock and finding time to make a trip with two small kids is near impossible

I have two small boys & car seats side by side in my 100 & new 200. We bought a Gracco slim line seat for the center seat & it works great. I can have both kids side by side behind the driver & middle & still fit several surfboards on the passenger side with the seat folded down. The Gracco slim line seat is really nice & saves a lot of space.
