No no ... real additive manufacturing using blue laser diodes as the heat source, sintering the proper powered alloy. Waaaay beyond "printers". I've worked on such things in the past.

Yeah I think that's dmls. Direct metal laser sintering. I've done that previously. Really awesome, just extremely expensive unless you've got an in with an owner of a machine with unused time.

Perhaps. NUBURU is in Centennial. May be worth a phone call to inquire. They are the tech Champs in the field and I used to work for them.

And a supply of Dilithium Crystals ;)

Product Update: As of October 2020, all orders now ship with Stainless Steel Black Oxide screws as well as the usual Stainless Steel screws and nuts.

Why this is worth mentioning: Nobody makes Black Oxide SS M2 screws as standard. I had to custom-order bulk batches from a fastener manufacturer. $400 set-up fee for the run.

This won't matter for most folks as the standard black oxide alloy steel only shows corrosion for some customers, but it's an important step in improving the overall product.

If anyone wants to get these new stainless screws, use code "SCREWED50" for 50% off a hardware kit. You'll get a full set of new hardware for about $1 more than shipping costs.

Stainless Steel I use is 18-8.

Another exciting hardware update is coming in the next few weeks. Just upping the refinement factor inch by inch!

You already had a great product. It is awesome that you still keep making it better and better. Great work man!

I'm slowing transitioning into pre-applied threadlock on all fasteners, assuming testing proves out. Custom batch fees on that are similar to the black stainless, but the per part cost is also a LOT higher, so I need to ease into it and make sure they work as expected.

Very nice, will be waiting to order my key until then.

looking to order my first key kit, just wanted to quick double check. At checkout there is a discount code box - is there a Mud discount code that I've missed? Searched the thread and didn't see one, but wouldn't be the first time I've blown right by one. TIA

This is a Mud Product, already discounted.
...By forum acclamation.

Or a Black Friday sale?

No discount code for single units, but let me know if you're buying multiples and I can take a little off.

Yup, I think the majority of all my customers still come from mud.
Or a Black Friday sale?
I've done a black friday sale every year and plan to this year. That being said, I made a big price reduction on the black kits earlier this year so the discount percentage on the common black kits won't be as high as previous years.

Another happy customer...thanks for making a great product! My son was sharpening a carpenter's pencil at the same time for some reason, thus the wood shavings. Haha.

These look great. Thanks for the heads-up, I just picked up a pair.
Looking forward to a key that doesn't grenade on startup anymore.

Was going to order 2 key fobs but missed the black friday sale. When is the next sale? Or any discount code for mudder. First time order. Thanks.
