This time, it was my dad. He was hit on I-35, and surprisingly, is in pretty good shape. Sore, achy, road rashed like crazy, and a little chipped bone in his thumb.
First few days he was hurting pretty good, and doing a whole lot of nothing.
Today, he showed up at the house to visit and get a change of scenery, so he's definitely on the road to recovery.
Anyhow, just wanted to let everybody know to be careful out there. This is too many, too close to each other.

Dang!
Y'all take care!
Nick

Sorry to hear it.

It's that time of year. Weather is pretty nice all over and people that don't or can't ride year round (not necessarily your dad or Kowboys situation of course) start throwing thier legs over thier rides.

The more bikes on the road, the larger the # of crashes:frown:

Glad your dad's ok.

Everyone please be careful.

Man there are some tards on the road these days. Glad your Pop is ok.

Glad to hear he is doing well.

I was hit a few years ago and it messed me up pretty bad, sounds like he is doing much much better than I was after my first wreck.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, he's doing pretty good, considering, and fortunately it was in traffic, so he was only going about 45, versus highway speeds. Still, it sucks. He does not like being slowed down...
bike is most likely totaled. He's not though, so that's a win! :)
