Will the engine roll over by hand? Is the smog pump locked up or something?

If you clean the fracture, sometimes you can see the failure initiation.

It IS unusual

it will, and all is free. I think the mud bogs and wheeling may have done it :/
there was a miner oil leak coming from the f of the block and now I know why. that was eating at the seal then just blow up
