Wow, can't say as I've ever seen that happen before. I bet it made a neat sound when it let loose!
You're gonna want to buy a couple of tubes to fix that one up...
Why/how did this occur?
hey, don't laugh...i knew a guy that cracked the block in a jeep and coated it with jb weld...was still running around a year later!!!
Oooh. That blowed up good.....REAL good!
A little joint compound will work, and go with a heavier weight gear oil.
My litle brother dumped the clutch on my FJ40 and the 38.5"s hooked up real good on the hot asphalt............
LOL, Little brothers are good that way. Looks like bro'll be doing some shopping for a new transfercase, eh?
LOL, so THAT'S what they mean by a split T-case, huh?
Maybe a divorced T-Case as well. It tried to take half and leave....
well if jb weld dont fix it good old duct tape will.
i had to say it no one else did
dont fergit the bailing wire. git a couple of turns on there before the jb application.
Will you just relax, mon? ...My father is a television repairman. He's got all kinds of tools. I can fix this car.
Lil brother's gonna be sorry huh.
yep, seen that in real life before, always the one piece case.
weird feeling when all forward momentum stops and you don't know why. you crawl under and see the huge puddle of oil and the gap in the t/case...
a little late for the t/case saver i would say...
Doh! run some hevier weight earl in there and you'll be good to go. I crashed my older brothers cruiser when I borrowed it once. small scrape and dent, no big deal. I gave him my road bike instead of cash. A few years later I bought the truck from him.
