I have no good input but the PO on mine had the motor rebuilt. It's frightening how fast it goes up. I'm always worried it's gonna shatter when it gets to the top. Guess I'm saying a fast window is certainly doable

Is it possible that the two swinging arms are not meshed together correctly? Off a tooth one way or another? They're not symmetrical, and need to positioned just right to go up all the way...

I agree with pighead. Seems like a logical reason for it to hang up.

All hail king Pighead... sure enough, they were off a tooth. Works pretty well now.

Gee, that really worked?! Swapped out my gear, the electric all works well, the glass is not hanging up, but it is still slow. Guess I need to give that a try also...
