1999 Toyota Land Cruiser for sale
Trades preferred at this time
Beautiful 1999 Land Cruiser 100 series in Atlantis Mica Blue. This is a West Coast / Intermountain car, having spent most of its life in Nevada, Idaho, and Eastern Washington. Undercarriage in good shape, with some light surface oxidation.
This is our current backup adventure vehicle and also my occasional commute vehicle, so a mix of about 95% pavement, 5% easy dirt Forest Service roads. We have loved our Land Cruisers over the years and treat them well, but it is time to change up the fleet a bit and adapt to new pandemic-era life changes. Very sad to see this go, but hoping another equally loving home is ready for her.
Clean WA title. Recent Carfax available on request.
Has rear e-locker (last year for it) and standard center locker. Sunroof working well. 4-speed transmission working well. Locking diffs working well.
We have been averaging ~15-17 mpg, and reliably driven this beauty thousands of miles throughout the west.
In the 10k miles, the following has been done (almost all dealer service)
- Regular oil and fluid changes, tire rotations
- New timing belt
- New drive belt
- New fan clutch
- New fan bracket
- New water pump
- New valve cover gaskets
- New rear brake pads and rotors
- New front brake pads
- New CVs both sides
- New Passenger door handle
- New passenger LBJ
- New tires (with warranty certificates)
- New pigtail for fog lights (and bulbs were replaced)
- New stereo with aux input
- New engine air filter
- New weather mats
- New struts on rear hatch
Other additional aftermarket features and spare parts
- Accessory LED lights and switch
- Roof basket with Shovel and hi lift Jack mounts (if desired)
- Tow controller and 7 pin wiring harness and 2” hitch
- Spare set of Bosch rotors (if desired)
Known issues:
- Front seat bottoms could use help or seat covers (heaters working fine)
- Passenger handle lock is finicky (locks fine, but doesn’t always unlock with key)
Or trade possibilities (balanced with cash on either end as needed) include:
- Scamp or Casita or Airstream Bambi or Argosy trailer under ~19’
- 1998 or later automatic Tacoma or Tundra 4x4 extra or crew cab or T100 of similar vintage (or maybe a Nissan Frontier 4x4)
- Stock or light off road build 200 series Land Cruiser or Lexus GX460 / LX570
- Small or Medium 29er or 27.5” Hardtail or Full Suspension mountain or 50-54 cm (true sizing) gravel bike or fat bike, newer, prefer 1x10, 1x11 or 1x12 drivetrain, Shimano or Sram is ok. (Specialized, Santa Cruz, Salsa, Trek or similar preferred). Steel, alu, or carbon ok.
- NRS, Sol, Red, Hala, Badfish, or Sol paddle boards > 8 feet
- Patented mining claim or high mountain or coastal / island land in Colorado, Wyoming, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Oregon, California, or Montana
Detailed pictures and more info available via Google Drive if interested.
Can arrange for test drive for serious buyers (cash proof or proof of funds / loan or trade required before arranging timing) in Laramie or Cheyenne, Wyoming or Fort Collins, Colorado.
However, if you would like delivered and aren’t in these areas, we can deliver elsewhere within the following states: WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, CA, AZ, NV, NM, CO, NE, MN, ND, SD, or UT for $500 - $1800 additional delivery fee dependent on schedule and distance (required as a deposit). Meetup must be within 1 hour of an airport with regular Commercial air service. Any further and you’ll most likely need to arrange your own delivery.
