Hi all, i need an old rear axle shaft out of anything that's 6x5.5, so Toyota or Chevy. Condition doesnt matter just need from the mounting surface and around 8 inches of axle.

Spare tire mount?

I got one for you --Free A short side 60 axle?

Exactly, is it one of your trail spares? If so then don't worry about, I'd rather cut up a junkyard pickup axle.

All my water-jet cut steel has been sitting in a shop downtown for 3 weeks, I haven't even seen it yet

Not at all. I only break the long side axles, so I ended up with extra short side axles.
I can box it and mail it, or hold it for safe keeping till someone drives this way or that way.

I'll be in Tampa on the 25th if that helps.

I'm having second thoughts, I might just buy the 1/4 plate from AtoZ fab for 15$, I'm going to have a bunch if leftover 1x1x1/4 so that will be more stout anyways.

That all depends :)

I'm in Tampa at least once a month for meetings - usually the last Thursday of the month. Depending on what's going on with work depends how much extra time I have left over.
