They were not used if you installed the locker in the front 3rd

I needed the springs and posts for my lockright (in my samurai) once... Called Powertrax and they sent them for free... Have you tried contacting them?

I beg to differ. They are essential to keeping the couplers held against the side of the carrier, regardless of axleshaft configuration.
