does anyone know of a good used mini van or equivalent? Under 5k, I know that limits thing a bit I would like to buy from a good owner (mud buddy) if anyone has a lead please drop me a line

Have you considered a first gen Ford Expedition? It's not a minivan, but you could find one in that price range, parts are cheap and they are great trucks. They seat 8 too. Mpgs aren't good, but that's just something mud guys have to deal with. I've had 2 and love them.

Darn. I sold our 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan, 3.3 liter, 124k miles, original owner, full service records, Mobil 1 since 5,000 miles for 5,500 bucks not too long ago.

There are still some decent ones out there.
