Wrong leak (1 Viewer)

I thought I had a couple transfer case leaks around the shaft seals. I cleaned the bottom of the truck pretty well only to be surprised.
Hopefully this is just a washer to fix.
I assume this is the main drain plug for the tranny.

Fluid was clear with a greenish tent. I was expecting dark.

Na don’t think so. Coolent is Honda blue or whatever. It’s some kind of oil for sure.

Clean 90wt gear oil can appear blue/green.

Agree with @SteveH about the color.

One way to determine if it’s oil or anti freeze...and this sounds weird but it’s not too bad... taste the fluid. VERY easy to tell the difference. Tap it with your finger, put it on your tongue. Anti freeze will taste sweet, oil will not.
