GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!![]()
And the end user can do that
If I put USB then I'll get asked to put lightning port instead
If I put lightning port I'll get asked to put mini-USB instead
If I put mini-USB I'll get asked to put micro-USB instead
Why? because no one wants wires and adding a USB port means a wire still needs to be added. So no, I won't be adding any charging ports to it, respectfully![]()
I was hoping for an Anderson connector"Joey I want none of that give us USB-C"![]()
RAM X Grip with MotoPowerPuck for Qi wireless charging. Works fantastic and no need for any type of charging cable to be hanging down and inserted every time you need juice. The MotoPowerPuck runs directly to my fuse block, so it’s always on.nice Joey, any reccomendations for an iphone holder?, I have a magnet thing now and it is just horrible

<Hijack on> This is way off topic...other than adding stuff...but here in Phoenix, devices sitting in the sun shut down, over heat, won't charge, etc. Food for thought is to come up with a universal sun-proof cover to shield devices from the direct sun. All the supercharger space blanket and roof top white heat proof elastomer popped to mind. The mirror mount and handle mount for RAM balls are awesome, I just haven't been able to find a way to keep them out of direct sunlight which renders them to goo. <Hijack off>
Amateurs. 3M Crystalline window filmGET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!![]()
Is this stuff clear and I could use it on my old Studebaker to keep out UV rays and heat without having "tinted" windows?Amateurs. 3M Crystalline window film
That's the elite stuff, cost is ~$300 for the windshield, $1-1.5K for the entire vehicle. I used a less expensive brand (SunTek CIR Series, $600), 70% on the windshield, 5% on the sunroof, and 40% on everything else on the trail truck I drive 3 full days a week in the desert. I have a DD with no (aftermarket) tint and the difference is phenomenal. The Crystalline is real-world tested to be significantly better than what I used.
The number refers to the amount of visible light that is transferred. Crystalline 90 lets 90% of the light through, so nearly transparent. I used 70% on the windshield (see pic above) and it's not obvious unless you're aware of it. 5% is 'limo black'.Is this stuff clear and I could use it on my old Studebaker to keep out UV rays and heat without having "tinted" windows?
I deal with this in Texas and the angle and shape of our windshield creates almost like a magnifying glass effect. Solution... Tint your windshield. I just went to the Lexus dealership and had them add the 80% windshield specific tint and it's literally a night and day difference. Worth the coin.<Hijack on> This is way off topic...other than adding stuff...but here in Phoenix, devices sitting in the sun shut down, over heat, won't charge, etc. Food for thought is to come up with a universal sun-proof cover to shield devices from the direct sun.
