RAM X Grip with MotoPowerPuck for Qi wireless charging. Works fantastic and no need for any type of charging cable to be hanging down and inserted every time you need juice. The MotoPowerPuck runs directly to my fuse block, so it’s always on.

That's the elite stuff, cost is ~$300 for the windshield, $1-1.5K for the entire vehicle. I used a less expensive brand (SunTek CIR Series, $600), 70% on the windshield, 5% on the sunroof, and 40% on everything else on the trail truck I drive 3 full days a week in the desert. I have a DD with no (aftermarket) tint and the difference is phenomenal. The Crystalline is real-world tested to be significantly better than what I used.
Oh, and I do have a bit of experience with devices on the dash

Is this stuff clear and I could use it on my old Studebaker to keep out UV rays and heat without having "tinted" windows?
The number refers to the amount of visible light that is transferred. Crystalline 90 lets 90% of the light through, so nearly transparent. I used 70% on the windshield (see pic above) and it's not obvious unless you're aware of it. 5% is 'limo black'.
I deal with this in Texas and the angle and shape of our windshield creates almost like a magnifying glass effect. Solution... Tint your windshield. I just went to the Lexus dealership and had them add the 80% windshield specific tint and it's literally a night and day difference. Worth the coin.
