Wow, you replied. How wonderful. How hard was that? Over a year and you ignored every phone call, email, text and all I asked for was information, communication, you know basic customer service. Thanks, now I will wait 90 days.
You also didn’t read the other part of that same order page. And I’ve responded to you multiple times on the correct thread and everyone else has also responded to you. Zero to add.

Dude, when I ordered you told me over the phone that you expected to ship in about 6 months, that was 18 months ago. You can be as pissed as you want but all I asked for was information along the way. That shouldn't be too much to ask for. If you look here on Mud you will see I asked multiple times for an update and you never replied. A 1000 word story on facebook is interesting, but didn't ever list and ETA or actually give any specifics on what parts you were waiting on. This forum is filled with fabricators, parts junkies and experts in almost every field. You may have solved your problems by simply sharing some details. Anyway, it doesn't mater now. I'm done. I'll sit back now and wait my 90 days.

Oh I’m not upset at all. I’m shaking my head. I detail EVERYTHING in a public thread. The CORRECT thread. I have done numerous newsletters and social media posts detailing exactly that. Not this thread. I’ve been 100% transparent there. You’ve posted there. You got answered there. Posting in the wrong thread just doesn’t make sense.

It kinda is. It’s why I haven’t closed the thread yet. It’s all about manpower. Trying to solve that.
I would love to work for you and be part of the cool kid fun. Seriously.
Was just thinking about life, how I would rather spend my time, yaddda yadda...
I can't leave where I am now but I would move across county and make it happen if I could.
Some decent person should could move and try on the life of being at ones Wits' End.

If only he would hire remote workers with no applicable skills. I’d be so in

What is wrong with relocating to Southern Oregon? I grew up in and around Portland, Oregon and had family that lived in Grants Pass/Medford and loved going there as a kid. Also, one of the greatest rifle manufactures in located in Grants Pass, Oregon Noveske Rifleworks.

Looks like a beautiful area I’m sure I’d love living there. Personally though I have a young kid and family close by - that’s a tough situation to give up.

Scotch and cigars via zoom? 🤔
Always in for that. Got a bottle of laphroaig quarter cask for Christmas I haven’t touched yet.

In no way am I targeting you @CruiserCarl @NLXTACY has had a full plate when it comes to his life. With the move from LA to Oregon and the health of his wife and dealing with delays from suppliers. Just like Joey said, subscribe to his newslettters is the best way to stay up to date. Also, I have been waiting for QPM since March of 2021.

Seriously, count me in Joey @NLXTACY if and when this spare tire mount ever sees the light of day. If nothing else, I discovered I desperately need it so my Trasharoo has somewhere to hang from🤔😀. Would it be helpful for you to refresh and do another vote count to see how many of us are still interested in the spare tire mount so you know how many serious buyers you have? Just throwing this idea or any other idea out there if it will help to get this project some traction.

Before going back to regular scheduled programming of the original thread topic, @CruiserCarl I will say as a newish LC owner, the QPM I ordered took longer than expected frankly. But let's cut him some slack. On top of all the covid insanity that we all endured personally over the past year, his small business was directly affected by it. On top of that his Mrs had some serious health issues. On top of that he moved from Southern California to Oregon. His products and info on this forum are valuable to us niche LC owners. As someone alluded to earlier in this thread he's an innovator and we should be thankful for that. I have neither the available time nor the skills to fabricate the stuff he does. Hang in there, you'll be happy with the end product.

Keeping this thread alive for the spare tire carrier. Thanks for all you do, Joey.

man, I feel for you guys.....I managed to get in on the last AJIK orders and consider myself lucky, but when and if Joey gets this out there i def want one of the wheel mounted plate holders
good luck everyone.

Is this where we get on a notification for the rear tire swing out or someplace else?

Thanks!

I lucked out too.. I got one from GGM (General Green Manufacturing). These puppies are hard to find and not easy to make, so the guys trying to do this need some appreciation.
GGM is new to the market.. but I took a chance as it looks like they are in production..
Stomp On!!

I am definitely interested...but I also utilize a pop up trailer to tow and it looks like the swing out latches to the bumper square hitch mount? Am I looking at that correctly?

GGM stated on another page that it only blocks/utilized the pintle mount location. It does not interfere with an under frame/bumper mounted hitch mount. I installed mine a couple weeks ago and all I needed to add was a 6in extension to my 2pm receiver to reach it comfortably.

Yeah, they reached out to me and indicated that if I have the tow hitch, the swing out would not interfere with it.

Thanks!

How do you like that GGM swing out? Difficult to install?

I really like mine. It is very solid, and believe me.. I looked for a long time for this solution. My spare does not block my brake lights like some other designs would have. I went over the instructions a couple of times before I started. I think it took me about two or so hours with the help of a buddy for lifting, checking fitment and to hand me a beer now and then.

The supplied hardware is all top notch. And As a note.. you don't need to gorilla tighten the large bolt through the frame.. it has a supplied lock nut and you just don't need to kill it to make it secure... it ain't gonna move!
For me the most time consuming part was measuring and re-measuring the hole in the bumper cover for the spindle placement before I it.... I undersized the hole just a bit with my hole saw.. and then adjusted the opening with my Dremmel tool. I made mine with a bit more space toward the body to accommodate my plate wiring that I ran through the bumper cover spindle hole, and then through the carrier up to the tag light. I slowly worked that opening and had the cover off and on a few times until I was happy with the fit.. but that is just me.
