Greetings all.

I just put a pretty standard OME lift on the truck with the only problem being the rear shocks were frozen on top. I got them with a little heat and they broke free but may have also burned some of the wire that runs by on each shock tower. You can just barely see the wire I’m talking about between the body and frame by the top shock bolt.

I’m looking through the FSM but not having much luck...

For the first time ever the dreaded ABS, VSC, Brake lights combo has come on. Did I cut the rear brake/speed sensors? Can they be spliced and repaired?

I do think I recall seeing the speed sensor wires up there, and thinking that I needed to be careful about them. Might be a pain to access, but I would think you can disconnect the connector near the wheel and work your way back up removing the fastening clips until you get enough slack to be able to work on it for your repair. With the spare tire removed and the rear of the vehicle securely supported, you can sit in there and see what's going on with your head where the spare tire is normally stored.
