Ah ok. Better to get an aftermarket viper or compustar unit heaps Better range. Even the later OEM door receiver modules aren’t that much better. From wat I have read. Problem is afaik the steel in the LC is thick and reduces signal

That a Carolla unit ? does it plug n play the cruiser ?
Asked someone in Australia with a Sahara to take a look and thats the unit they have in the same place, same key fob too. From the picture of the unit the connector looks like it would fit

yeah looks like the code is LC $350 or so is steep price for a rubbish unit really. Wouldn't expect great distance.
