Wire Identification (1 Viewer)

I have two wires that I dont know what their purpose was. They attach to the union box between the short and long speedometer cables.

They are your speed detector wires. Go to your speed marker computer.

Where is the speed marker computer? This is on a 69- 70 FJ40 3 speed

Should be on the firewall. Looks just like the flasher, only it isn't.

I am still a little lost, can you enlighten me. Does this unit adjust the carb mix, or send info to the Vacuum Switch? Or both?

Yes to both. Your's will be specific to a vacuum retard carb/dizzy system.
