Just put my rear wiper arm on today only to find that the spline is stripped on the arm and the hatch. Anyone know if this part is still made or do I need to go to the WTB section?

When my front wiper was stripped, I put 2 washers between the nut and wiper arm and it pushed it down far enough to get some grab ...might work.

it may be worthwhile to do this

Try and wrap some fine steel wool on the splines then see if the wiper can slide over it and the splines. The steel wool will take up any slop and it should be tight. BTW, put some grease on the wool so it does not rust from rain.

I tried teflon tape and that didn't help. I'll try both suggestions. Thanks for letting me pick ur brains.

Tried the steel wool and that didn't help so I put 3 extra washers on it and it works fine now...Thanks!
