I just posted in the wanted section. I'm looking for a wiper motor for my '77 fj40. My son is about to start driving it as his first vehicle. Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I'm in a bit of a hurry. I need to make it legal for a state inspection. Can somebody help a fellow cruiser head get his son started off on the right foot?

Do you have a top on the vehicle? The reason I ask is I asked my local inspection station about getting my 1970 inspected and have the same issue w/ my wipers. I asked them if I don't have a windshield, then do I don't have to have wipers right? They said correct. I know this isn't the safest option, or most practical, but if you are in a pinch, you could either fold your windshield down or take it off completely and take it in for inspection. Of course, I don't have a top on mine right now which makes it real easy to take the windshield frame off. .02 cents
