Are you asking about the wiper knob set screw?

GA Architect is correct. It is a M4 set screw. It measures 4mm in length. Not positive on the pitch, my guess is it’s a 0.70. It matches up to a 0.70 screw I have. My chinese pitch gauges are rounded off and worthless in 0.70 & 0.75. If you are desperate you could cut regular M4 screw and dremel a slot for a standard screwdriver. Leave a nut on the segment you cut so you can straighten the threads out![]()
Yes this is correct. Also if you want to clean out the threads on the knobs where they screw on the shaft its 5mm-0.80 tap size.I replaced all the set screws in my knobs a few months ago. I took one of the originals to ACE Hardware and matched it up as best I can. I believe it was a M4-0.7x5MM set screw, but not 100% sure.
If you don't have an ACE around, send me a PM and I'll mail you one.
