wiper blade ID (1 Viewer)

Hi all - can't seem to figure our what wiper blades I need to replace the old ones. I have tried CCOT and SOR and don't see it listed.

I did get a replacement, but it doesn't look correct - see pictures.

the top picture is what I have now...
the bottom is what I got from SOR

Anyone no a source the wipers I need?

Pretty sure your bottom pic is the correct and someone adapted the end doo-hickey on the top to fit non stock wipers...you should have a lil hook attached instead of that big thing. least thats how my 69 is.

I always use Bosch wiper blades. Each set comes with a box of 5 sets adapters called "quick clips".
Pick the right adapter, push it on the wiper blade and slide it over the flat end of your wiper arm. Ready in minutes.



It takes more time to get the old ones off.

The book said 15 in at the parts store, but the blade then overlaps the windshield frame. I had a 13 on there.
Just did this a couple days ago.

I actually think its only 10" on my 77. I had an 11" blade one time that would hit the windshield gasket at the top of the swing, bent the end of the blade until I got the right ones.

In the yellow top of the box is a little box with (2x) 5 adapters, see last pic.


This is how it works. Select the adapter for your wiper arm.
Click it on the blade and hook it up to your wiper arm.


5 adapters, one is on the blade.

Hi Alex, I just visited Bosch Canada: Bosch - Wiper Blades and Bosch - ICON? and there seems to be 2 models available for Land Cruisers.
I picked 1978 for my Cruiser and these show up:
Micro Edge 40711 14.00 CAD
Direct Connect 40511 9.93 CAD

Keep the thumbscrew and the hook that it holds to the arm and get rid of everything after that. The hook then slides into the slot on the wiper blade that you got. The old blade assy should slide off the hook.
