My wipers are smacking the bottom of the windshield and going off the drivers side 2-3" when its raining.

What parts do I need to have on hand when I remove the motor and stuff? I'd like to minimize down time.

Any tips are appreciated as well.

You need to replace the linkage arm that extends from the motor to each wiper in the cowl. Not sure you can order that part, but it's what's causing your slapping.
 
I think it's called the transmission linkage.
 
Hi, Some where on this site is a rebuild the bushings for the windshield wipers. Mike
 
No, it's called a "Windshield Wiper Link Assembly" P/N 85160-90A07 for a FJ60.
 
I think there's one on the floor of my garage at home.
