I am usually ok at finding things on mud but this time failed. This is not the window mechanism.

The front of the driver’s window follows a u-bend track as it goes down. This track looks to be connected at the bottom by two spot welds and by something at the top.

My track has become completely loose, spot welds at the bottom are broken and the top is held on by the window rubber.

Any thoughts on best way to repair this. I’m thinking the bottom can be tack welded or maybe I’ll drill and bolt it. Pretty tight. No idea what to do with the top. Looks like this was installed as part of the door build.

Door. Talking about the straight piece through the speaker whole.

From inside the door. Window track on the left and bracket with spot welds on the right.
