How do I take off the window roller downer thingy??? Does it just pull straight off or is there a C clip???

clip tool i have keeps the clip.Pain in the ass when lost.

i usually use one of those little hook tools...they work pretty well...clip only goes flying about a third of the time.

while i am on winders i refited my doors with new locks ect and i had purchase new winders but could not refund these because it was after 30 day. they turned out to be the wrong ones,they are for a older one piece window door .Dose anyone need a set of these.

FWIW : rag is not old school
FSM shows rag.

I've found linen ( old pillow case / bed sheet) to work the best. Clip doesn't fly cause it's not totally removed...
