I have an ARB with a superwinch x9. The control box right now sits up from the winch, right in front of the grill. No biggie, but I wanted to put some 8" or 9" lights (hopin' to afford some Lightforce ones) on the ARB as well. This would pretty much block off the grill between the ARB uprights. Anyone in the hot desert areas done this with no problems? Or should I look to relocate the control box?

Well, I actually have AC cut out anyway w/o yet a winch in the Valley, though I do have large lights on the ARB bar. I've been trying to formulate an extra electric fan or something.

And yes my cooling system's good, preventative HG replaced in January along with new radiator and water pump and Toy red.

If you have forced induction I would not recommend anything on the bumper, period. N/A vehicles may vary depending on climate and cooling system condition.
