So, I have the typical lack of forward and backward movement in my driver seat. What's seems not so typical is that when I changed both gears and cap from Gamaviti, it still didn't work. The new gears got chewed up almost immediately. Rather than trying this route again, I really want to go to a manual sliding seat. Rather than try to swap in a cloth seat, which are hard to come by anyway, I would really love to find a way to convert my existing seat.
I came across the manual brackets from Corbeau that fit to the floor but I am not sure what it would take to mate the top of their bracket to the bottom of my seat. Has anyone done this before?
Alternatively, has anyone swapped a Toyota manual seat bracket to fit under a leather powered seat?
