will 88 fj body work on 83 fj's? (1 Viewer)

I have an 88 fj62, and am looking to sell the body to someone to surprise the husband....she and I ...are not sure about body parts and what years fit what. ANy help is appreciated....

most body work will fit (doors, hood, etc.). I believe the front valence and quarters are different on 62's vs 60's.

It'll work. The only difference in the bodies are the front clip, as sl33py said, but are interchangable.
