By the way I have some odds and ends and doors from a part-out, and I have a rolled 75 that I keep around just so I can figure out how to put my 74 back together - probably when my kids are away at college. If there's something there you urgently need let me know.

I know you said you found one already but this one is pretty cheap and you might be able to use parts off it for yours...

Oh, I haven't found a FJ55 yet. I'm driving to Boise tomorrow morning to pick up some parts but not a whole truck.


I'd be down for a parts truck, but I am not really interested in spending more than $500-$700 for just a shell or parts vehicle. His asking price is close, but I don't know if it'd be worth the drive.

FJ55s seem to be out there so I'm not too worried about finding parts trucks is not too difficult. Finding a buildable '78-79 may be a tougher job.
