I’m Land Cruiser shopping and seeing some have 4 square headlights and others have integrated “aero” lights. What’s the difference?

Standard headlights are twin 6 x 4 inserts on each side. Outer insert is both hi and low beam. Inner insert is hi beam only. There are sealed-beam and semi-sealed beam (which use h4 in the outers and h1 in the inners) for the Oz market. Not sure about US.

The other headlights are 'sahara' style used on the high-spec 80's. I personally hate them. ;) Many aftermarket headlights also do not have glass lenses and polycarbonate lens headlights are the most disgusting things because of how the plastic degrades.

The different lights are mostly due to differences in models made for different markets, but can also be related to spec level

Aussie 80 series had the four square lights in almost every model.
I believe the Sahara (VX) Aussie luxury flagship had the one piece lights
