Why buy the FJ Cruiser?

...In light of the dealer SCALPING on the FJ Cruiser, and the high cost of option packages, I assume that the aveg. FJ Cruiser is going out the door around the $30,000 range...

For those of us waiting, the time draws nigh...

Why, LOOK! The very first FJC BASE model ($24K ... okay, it did have the CQ package...) I've seen on the ground! There were truckloads of them driving down the freeway (no upgraded wheels, no skid plates, no running boards, no roof racks ... no nothin'!) to dealerships!

Dealers are selling at (or below, in some cases) MSRP!

Well then I guess the FJC is a Miata as well since it is based on the 4-Runner. And please don't babble about the Light Duty Prado.
