Why are smilies regularly fubared??

    I notice again and again .. that the smilies crap out. Once the green snot guy would not jump .. then somethin else happened I can't recall now .. and the latest is the D'ohh came out as a smile just now in another post. I'm looking at the D'ohh spot and it shows a smile, but as I hover over it it's text shows the correct 'd'oh', but it will come out as a smile I bet ...


    Hey is the D'oh smilie ----> :doh:


    If it is working when you see this then the error has self corrected, as perhaps boogerman did.


    I only mention this because I wondered if it could become a symptom of bigger software issues going on ..

    never had a problem myself....a new vB version was released recently tho, and is on my list of near-future upgrades
