It's a tough one for me. So many good players out there. Some of the ones that have attracted me over the years...

    - Todd Park Mohr: Big Head Todd and the Monsters.
-Trey Anastasio: Phish(heard him in one other band with one of the guys from Primus, kicked ass)
-Always liked the guitarist from the Psychodelic Zombiez(local band) could never remember his name.
-Who's the guitarist from Rage Against the Machine? Man he can play a mean guitar
-Still tryin to think of others that I like.....

Oysterhead: Trey, Les Claypool, and Stewart Copeland on the drums...what a great band.

Well, gotta say Garcia...never anyone like him, never will be.

    Steve Harris--bassist, Iron Maiden
    Pat Martino (jazz dude)
    John McLaughlin--Mahavishnu Orchestra

    Agreed Les Claypool is awesome.
    Buckethead is insane.
    Slash from guns and roses.
Too many good ones to list.

A few rock lead guitarists that come to mind . . . Nuno Bettencourt, Vernon Reid, and Alex Lifeson. Forgot to mention Mark Knopfler.

Tom Moreno played for RATM; he's now in Audioslave.

    Radiohead is awesome!
I just dusted off some cd's and cranked up Tool and Ministry a little bit ago. I suddenly have the strange urge to start throwing elbows.
