Who’s taken front fenders off: advice needed (1 Viewer)

I know the JDM trucks have an amber running light mounted on the side of the front fender, immediately behind the front wheel. For those who’ve taken the front fenders off, curious how much room there is behind the fender? I’d like to flush mount a side facing light to augment my ditch lights. Considering the Baja Designs S1. Before I dig into things or purchase the lights, anybody know if I have enough depth to pull this off?

if you look down the fender on the passenger wide, next to the cruise control, you will see how much room there is. From what i remember, there’s probably enough room for that but installing it without taking the fender off is going to be a pita

Looks totally doable.

Edit: The distance from that bumpout to the door she'll is 3.5". Actually 3 5/8", but I'm not exactly sure where you're putting the light on the curve of the panel. Assume a little shallower.
