who's got an original bill of sale for an FJ40...

    I love it - he traded in a Chevy Vega for a Toyota - best move ever!

    Anyone else remember the Vega -

    a buddy had a SBC in his - with panels...cool as hell...when I was 14

    yup, 20%......that was also for home loans back in the early 80's!!!!!

    if you got crappy credit you can still find 29% interest rates on cars.

    Not to hi-jack but back then you could also get a 1yr CD that paid 15%+. Doubling your money every 5 years - not bad for a boring investment.

    I got hosed when I first moved out to colorado in 1982....walked into a toyota dealer and drove out with 20% interest and a $430.00 payment.......

    What a dumb kid...!!

    I loved that truch though........................:)

    i have the one for my 60....its says $300 for rust proofing....i'll see if i can get a refund.
