i have one of those sharp microwave drawers 2 years running - no problems so far. it heats stuff up rather well. i figure the first (and likely) only issue i might have is the electric drawer part crapping out on me.
EMR makes a nice microwave..

The large, suthun lawya is pretty much dead on... The most recent Consumer Reports I read through recommended every single one they tested. I hope GE Profile convection ones are good, 'cuz its showing up on Friday...
What would it take to get the two of you together? There has to be a down side I just don't know what it is?
A cheap-ass Emerson I bought in 2000 has outlasted 2 commercial microwaves in my brother's restaurant kitchen. Instead of being the backup it's now the regular use piece and has been for almost 5 years. It works well.
I have no idea what nuker is in my kitchen, but it works fine also. If I cared, I'd walk downstairs to look.

every GE appliance I have ever encountered was either a giant energy sucker or a royal piece of s*** - I hate GE 
[had to replace two GE dishwashers and a GE washer, 2 of the appliances were within their 5 year warranty period when they failed to the point where repair would have been uneconomical
