The decal on the side is unique. Also this 40 is a mix of parts. Fuel fill opening ended with the 72 model. If you can believe the cowl it's either a 77 or 78.
I look at this picture and think if I only had one FJ40 it would be a hard top. Already have plenty of open toys to enjoy. Would want one to enjoy when the weather isn't so nice. But that's just the way my brain works or doesn't work which I think may be the case.

I believe that is a square fuel door opening w/o the door.
