Got my header equipped 100 back yesterday. I feel a difference from 2500 rpm on, it’s not earth shattering but is noticeable. Had the borla catback installed at same time. Exhaust needed replacement but headers were a unnecessary purchase, not worth the price unless installing yourself. Land cruiser knowledgeable shop charged a fortune in labor due to some install issues.
I was at the shop at 5 o'clock when they were working on your truck. Dude. Seriously those things are definitely NOT "plug n play".
Even with access cleared the fitment was like shoving an elephant tusk in a sandwich bag.Probably easier on a lower mileage and less rusty truck, could not remove steering rack due to rust apparently. Makes getting at everything that much more difficult.

How many hours for the install?
Do you still feel/like the upgrade?
It's a ridiculous number so I didn't want to post it. Headers + catback install + spark plugs + timing belt/water pump kit = 30 (thirty) hours
I like how it runs, feels good through mid rpm's, not worth that kind of money at all unless you just like throwing money into car stuff (I kinda do)
If you were to take the labor out and did it yourself would it be a worthy upgrade?
Where did you purchase the headers?
I got my THY-562-SS-C (for VVTi) from an EBAY seller in Canada, good price at $626 all in. Looks like they have sold out of the stock they had though.
I've had the DT Headers for going on 2 years now and probably 30,000 miles. I also have a stock 100 series. There was a noticeable difference in the mid range power, not to mention much better sound. I had the DT catback first and that was basically just clean noise, then did the DT headers and it made a very nice difference. Then I did 2.5 inch custom mid section with Flomaster hi flow cats...that made it a beast. I have not put my truck on a dyno, but based on how my stock 100 performs I would say I picked up at minimum 25whp, probably 30-35 is more realistic. Here is how it sounds:
No, but I can't imagine their would be much of a difference. Are your 100's Vvti equipped

Big differance
Looking for Vvti feedback plenty of non vvti info available.
I understand the difference between the 2 motors, the addition of the VVT-i and Air Injection. What is the "big" difference?
