Hey Rudical,
You actually did a great job on your pool table legs dude. You need to post up instructions for everyone else on how you pulled it all off.:beer:.......from an old :wrench:.

who's this? not many people have seen my table

Hey Rudical,
I tried to make it as obvious as I possibly could as to "who's on first". Apparantly you did as good a job at teaching me how to "look into what is still pretty much a puddle of mud",,,(for me anyway),,than you thought you did. And it was a fairly deep puddle of mud for me to be able to find your cruiser in! Anyway,,,,,I'm heading for second base now. Hopefully it'll only be up to the axles and a little easier to find? For me anyway. And given that you can drive a few hundred miles to find and rescue some guy with a busted steering gear on an old (40?),,,,,finding out "who's on first" should be a whole lot easier.

Oh! When the crap did you start using anologies? You never came and played played pool here, so how do you know how it came out. Glad you found your way through the mud.

I know "who's on first", also "what's on second"! My only problem is that "I don't know who" is on third. I really hope "who", that i know that was on first as a good hearted man can take third base so i know "who" is ready to make the run!

Do you still have the '71? You do know that PTO winch is fully functionable! All you have to do is pull that cable out and have a friend to hook on too (That can help get through any mud you need to). The group here is awsome! Most newbs usually introduce themselves, or have a question, but you had to find one post about a pool table (WTF)? Give me a call and let's hang out (Don't worry, I won't give you schit if you need a bridge). You can introduce yourself to the group.

BTW, about the broke steering geer, I have finally added up the time, gas, vehicle use, digging though the snow, and being a friend... priceless! (Oh, you owe me for the celutitus(sp?) from that bug in your yard!) You would do the same for me!

Hey Rudical,
Well, I don't have any 71's anymore. But I did have a 71 442 with a 455 and a 400 tranny with an HO shiftgate that I bought off the lot for my first ex-wife. (I really do miss the 442).:crybaby:.........Having said that I do appreciate being called a "newbie", ( Especially since I have at least ten Grandkids),
now that I had to give it all away for less than the price of a med pizza dude.
You see, I didn't have your e-mail address and I remembered about a year or two ago when you showed me how to "log on" to this site.No big surprise that I "forgot" how or where to go,,,or even how to do it all. I did remember two words. MUD and of course Rudical.
As far as "introductions" go,,,,,,I'm the guy who could stab your distributor to within a degree, on the first shot, by bringing # 1 up to top dead. ( Which I also have been more than once.)
Now I just need to be taught how to:steer: this bus over a "Cliff " somewhere? Maybe next year at Moab? ( Another word I recall.) And of course learn a little more about what in the **** I am actually doing on this thing.
Oh, I seriously doubt that the guy you saved with the busted steering box would ever say anything other than :flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2: you and the crusier you rode in on.
Hopefully now you won't have to keep :bang::bang::bang::bang::bang:
your head against your walls and get a "brain injury".

Thanks for the first lesson that apparantly you "forgot". ( Usually me dude.)

:flipoff2: Welcome to "Mud"! you jacka@@! Suprised you found and remembered this. Now f off :flipoff2:

Newb chiming in here. How about a battery pack that velcros to the underside of table next to the legs. There are rechargeable sets that hold multi batteries. You could solder a lead for the light side then pull off and plug in for recharge.
Any leads for steering help with a '76 40?
