How long does it take? Are there any things to look for?
Depends on how good you are with tools. I would imagine that you shoudl consider most of a weekend (with trips to the hardware store to get tools you suddenlt need)
Is it hard? nope.
I would say 3 bananna
There's a fitting on the EGR flex line that attaches to the big iron "thing" on the driver's side that's really hard to get to.
Also, just the manifold nuts are a PITA the closer you get to the firewall. And I gave up years ago trying to find fast ways to do things & since have resigned myself to removing anything that's in the way. Less stress and probably not much more time.
I'm with tinker on this one... The closer you get to the fire wall the more it becomes like trying to get your fingers on a marble stuck in a cactus - lots of sharp edges really close togather in there. It can totally be done though. Probably should remove the rest of the smog stuff while your at it though, unless you have headers with an EGR dump.
anyone want to help?
