I am just about to have the alternator stator recoiled in Bolivia but the guy who did it in Panama used probably the wrong type of wire (already black after 10'000miles!) and it's probably the wrong one. Now we don't know what was original.. if anyone has this information or has an alternator around and could measure the stator wire thickness would be great!
