@Tennessee80 FUNNY! I saw a pic of your 60 when I searched "white 60 graphics" last night. I LOVE THAT LOOK!!! Minimal but enough to make an impact.

@Robert Franzke That is my favorite 60 color. Didn't even think that it could be improved on but that is beautiful!

Right now, I have more pressing needs (knuckles and a steering overhaul) I think I have my AC working again (we will see for how long). All in all, she's not fighting me much (yet). Been fun putting the miles on it and learning how it likes to be driven.

Thanks for all the compliments and suggestions!

@Robert Franzke

I like the Corsetti stripes a lot. That is the perfect color 60 series for them. On all other colors, the stripes are not what I call a compliment to the overall look. If they made a "greyscale" version of these stripes, that might work on a white 60. I am by no means locked in on anything yet, just "ideaing"

Here's some greyscale:

Pretty sure all are "tubeless" I had the 32/11.5 on the 62 before but am just partial to the tall skinny(er) look. Would love to see the old 33/9.5 come back! This is the same combo I ran on the "Surfer"

Beautiful, no nonsense and clean representation of a lightly modified vintage wagon. Just a few questions. I always wanted to go with your choice of vintage wheels:
-Where did you purchase the wheels?
- Are the Steelies 15” or 16” diameter?
- What is the Wheel width?
-If you had the tires mounted by a third party, were any issues raised regarding the “oversized tire width in comparison to the stock Wheel width?
Thanx

Thanks @88Retired62

You can order the wheels from Toyota or shop Cruisercorps or Ebay. Ebay usually give me the best pricing. I've heard rumors of dealers matching prices but I can not confirm.

They are 15" diameter and 5.5" wide. Backspace allows clearance for disc brake 60s.
Mom and Pop tire shops are your best option for mounting. Most big box stores and chains won't touch this combo. Never had an independent shop tell me "no"

I've rocked this combo for 40s and 60s for about a decade now without issue.

"ThankYou50" for half off shipping. Ordered 5 yesterday for $520 to my door.

I ordered 33/10.5/15 razrs from SimpleTire.com and Discount won't mount them.

Go to the hood. They’ll mount them.

So
Last weekend, the wife loaded the kids in the 62 and I piloted the “Death Machine” about 120 miles round trip for a beach day at Surfside. 62 did great! Both Cruisers were slow steady and thirsty but a big hit on the beach and fun family memories made!

I swap the rims from my 40 to my 60 just to change it up

Found myself with about an hour to kill and not much else to do. Figured I’d rehab the dry and faded vents. Turned out nice I think!

So, it’s been a while. Lots and lots of electrical gremlins. I’m missing the analog(ness) of my 60s!

Had an inoperable power window that was fixed by cleaning the switch contact. EASY! Next, the blower motor took a dump. Started out as only blowing slow speed. Dig the resistor out and it looked new. Took the motor apart and all the brushes were toast. After searching, and finding the Four Seasons blowers for all around $75 to my door, on a lark checked my local Hi-Lo $48 and will be here this evening!!!

Import Direct brand. Wired her up (backwards first) just because. Then the right way and WOW! It blows amazingly well!

...and added the wood grain Di-Noc. Went on easy but was really unhappy with the cuts I made. When I did this 8 years ago, my hands and eyes were much better evidently. So I sourced a .25” black pinstripe and evened everything out. As an added bonus, it really sets the panel off!

@FARMAN33 any chance that you have any scraps left of the Di-Noc? I want to see how it looks like against my crusty diesel's paint.

What paint did you use on the air vents? Why the masking? Looks great. Might do that to mine when I get a chance.

The masking is for the chrome. It is actually chrome and gray. I didn’t want

to paint it all gray and lose the shiny bits!
