Which year FJ40's had hood ornaments??

I have a 71 with one but have seen many supposedly 71 restores without!! Anybody out there no for sure?

71 was the last year of the hood ornament. In the 72 model year the hood went from two piece to the one piece and dropped the hood ornament.

i really do like the two peice hood better...


hmm thats funny though because ive seen a one peice hood with a hood ornement on it.

It is not too hard to drill a couple holes....


I like the looks of the two piece hood and the ornament....

gotta hole saw the support under the hood so you can get the nuts on.
