Which Vortec V8 is more preferred or desired? The 5.7 or newer gereration 4.8,5.3,6.0 Whats the advantages/disadvantages of each? Thanks.

97 or 98 5.7 ltr take less computer work can almost bolt them in and go. New than that there is the pass key system that will need to be removed from the computer. With that being said the newer the better it just can be more work to hook them up.
