I have a 13B-T, but which truck to put it into???

Where may I get a input shaft (22t) for the H41 tranny to mate to the 13B-T?

Truck 1; 67 FJ43, no engine, H41 tranny, full floater rear. 4.11

Truck 2; 72 FJ40 487,000 miles so far. 74 F engine, H41 tranny w/.73 overdrive, full floater rear. 32" tires, 3.70

Thanks
TJ

Okay, that's just a weird question to ask. ;)

well I guess it comes down to which one do you like to drive more? I would put it in the 40. Have fun. Also the 13b-t is going to make it quite the DD. it will be soo much fun to drive you will be putting countless hours in it. So decide that way. Which one can you see your self driving on trips, going out on trails etc....... Both are good.

My bj60 is 3.70, 32 inch tires and 5 sp, So similar....? And I run out of torque for 5th gear. I need 4.11 gears. But I installed a turbo (haven't tried it yet) so I expect to start being able to use 5th. If not I will regear.

The 13b-t in the 40 should move it just fine. Infact it should have a nice low highway rpm. Do you wheel it?

I think the engine will(13B-T) Have enough power to not bogg down.

Sorry guys, I haven't got back to you sooner. I've been out at the Reno National Championship Air Races. The Rare Bear blown an engine but did qualify at 459MPH.

I do wheel it.

With 3.70 R&P, 32" tires and .77 (23%) overdrive won't it be to tall for the 13B-T. Right now with small hills on the open road I have to down shift from the overdrive. The TLC 5-speeds are only .88 (12%) or .85 (15%) overdrives.

Should I put the 4.11's back in?

Thanks
