Which HF Oil Filter wrench? (1 Viewer)

About to try my first oil change. Waiting on a few things to get shipped and want to have my tools prepared.

Are the Harbor Freight wrench/pliers OK? If so, which of the three is the one to get?

This style end cap generally works better since it’s tight in there. Also only snug the new one with your hand. Below is an example the pressed metal versions in my experience don’t always fit tight on the filter where the cast ones do better. Advance Auto Parts - Down for Maintenance

I too would get a cap wrench. I think it's 73mm / 14 flute. Dealer would have it if you can't find it at an auto parts store.

This is correct. Just bought one from amazon a little while back for my own oil change on my new-to-me LC, bought this one and worked perfectly.
