Its about time to get some newer tires, and ideally I'd like to stick with something in the 285 width, but closer to a 35" tire height. Without going to new rims (keeping the stock 16x8) I don't think there are many options at all.
So, if I go 315/75/16, are there any tire manufacturers where the section/tread widths tend to run narrower than other brands (in real life, not on paper), for an equivalent size? I'm not terribly set on a given make/model, so looking for feedback thats kind of generic to certain brands if they tend to run narrower (or wider) than others.
