Where to get new blower resistor?

My blower motor reisistor is bad (low fan speed coil is broken).

I used the archives here to track it down but now I need a cheap replacment and want to knwo what others have done. I tried Radio Shack for the individual coil but they didn't have it. the dealer ship wants $60 for one and I can't find it on SOR. So... anybody know where to get a aftermarket replacment? or the actual reisitor coil itself.

Thanks,
Dave

hey doc i noticed you had the same issue a while back from reading the archives... did you ever find a replacment resistor from radio shack? if i could find a matching resistor i could just solder it in. how did you know it was 1ohm 50watt?
