Hi guys
Does anyone know of anywhere that I can still get a new or recon carby to suit a 76 2f?
I got this car a few months ago and the previous owner put a single barrel stromberg on it (dork)
Naturally it doesnt run so good, and the carb has seen better days.
I know I'll probably have to buy from a wrecker, but thought hey, what the hell, I'll ask.......

SOR? Bear in mind Im in Oz here so wont recognise stores you mention.
Do you have a link?

bear in mind there is currently no way for "me" to know where you are.........

you can change that by setting a "location" in your "user CP".

they show the NON usa in stock also....meaning they would probaly be availible from your local dealer.

Thanks for the link, I take your point about my profile, hope I didnt come across to you as rude or anything.

Not listed on their website, although they do sell other Aisin carbs.
Will give them an email and see what they say.
Thankyou :D

Doesn't Nardek sell new Aisin carbs? They're in your neck of the woods, also.

HTH.
Todd Bull.

That was my first thought too. THe homeland advantage! I had the same link in my library, but apparantly they've taken the LC carbs off the list. :frown:

Still worth giving them a call, cause it's got to be easier than getting something shipped from over here.

Also take a few minutes and run a thread search on Nardek here. IIRC somebody posted up a month or three back about some quality issues with their products.

I've got stock and Non US spec'd 76 rebuilt carbs to sell, but I'm not fond of trying to figure out how to ship my stuff out of the country.

It's really gotten pretty easy to do, Mark. You can figure the amount here: http://www.usps.com/tools/calculatepostage/welcome.htm?from=home&page=0061calculatepostage

select the package size to determine the method of mailing. They do have two short forms to fill, but if you go to any Post office I'm sure you'll find that the clerk is quite willing to help with those or any other aspect of shipping internationally.

Not all that expensive either.
