Where to buy vacuum pump?

I am planning to abandon the vac. portion of my alt. from my HJ60 and use somethig that actually works well

If your vac pump is not working well, you should check the check valve at the alternator. Also make sure that your reservoir is not full of something... like oil.

Some of the alt mounted vacuum pumps strip the splines and leave the pump with no drive.

There electric ones out there... try a speed shop. Also can get other belt driven units from other diesels, such as Ford.
