Howdy all
A mate has a fzj105 series and the cigarette lighter fuse has blown as they dont work now ,there is 3 factory cigarette lighter outlets
Does any one know were the fuse is to be found
In my 79 series the stereo and cigarette lighter are on the same fuse but his stereo works still so i presume the 100 series run theres seperate, is there a relay or something to power the rear one?

any help or info will be appreciated
cheers

okie thanks mate does your left side kick panel have a little clip of lid type thing with fuses behind it or do you have to take the hold lhs kick panel out
just asking as both kick panels dont have the typical looking one with a easy access lid thing to the fuses

Does he have an owner's manual with a diagram and list of the fuses? On my 80, each outlet also had a fusible link that would burn through before the regular fuse burned through. Pain in the arse. But if all his outlets are inop that's probably not the case. Unless he plugged something big into each one and blew them individually.

In the 100 we have three 12v plugs 2 are on the cig fuse and 1 is a 300watt plug. The 300watt plug is located next to the standard cig lighter but is seperatley fused.

No mate didnt come with the manual i could prob post a pic up of it next time though lol
Thanks for all your help guys and the quick response muchly appreciated
ill let you know how it gos if it sorts the prob or if something else packed out in the 105

Is this true? Mine has stopped work, but the cig lighter plug next to it (the one in the middle) is working fine. I think the fuse is located in the kick panel, forget the number. How do you remove that entire panel to access?

yes they are separately fused. The issue myself and one other person had was that the plug was actually unplugged. I took the console apart and just plugged it back it. It was actually a very easy job.

I have an entire thread about my adventure with the 12v outlets and fuses

Don't we have 4? Two in dash, one in center console, one in bed.

Sorry for bringing this back. Going crazy looking for it. Made the bonehead mistake of plugging in an inverted to the center console plug, blowing out that, plus front and rear outlets. The 300 watt cig lighter in the front still works.

I bought some 15a fuses and trying to figure out how to access it. My search game is weak today. Please help. Visuals or pics would help
